0930      Trauma centres, trauma teams – why and how?    Dr  Ben Walton

1030       Hypotensive resuscitation                                   Dr Jules Blackham

1130       Penetrating trauma                                            Dr Adam Brown

1210       Pelvic trauma                                                     Mr Tony Ward

1300      Lunch 

1400      Afternoon Workshops:

 

  • Chest drains – (SM, AB, JB)

 

  • Vascular access and massive transfusion – including Eezi – IO, Level 1 fluids (SM, AB, JB)

 

  • Application of Thomas splint and pelvis splint  (Will Thomas & Plaster Tech)

 1600    Tea, Feedback and Close
