Dear Colleague,

The faculty of pre-hospital care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh have set up a number of regional faculties with the intention of providing Education evenings to all people involved in Pre-Hospital Care. We have set up a faculty in the north of the south Southwest region. I am planning to set up a second group of training sessions in the south of the region, to all access to as many PHC practitioners as possible, later on this year. The training session are not free, but the charge (£3 for the first session) is intended to cover cost of traveling expenses of presenters and coffee for attendees.

What's New in Drowning?  by Paul Savage, OBE, BSc RNLI Clinical Lead and Clinical Operations Manager, Chairman UKSAR Medical Group

For the first session we have the RNLI’s clinical lead, Paul Savage, who is coming down from London for the evening. Having seen him present before, I can thoroughly recommend his lecture.

All welcome – Please note £3 entry donation to cover costs and to support future events.

If you have any question, please do not hesitate to get in touch.  Please email Jon Brown  to confirm attendance and get travel directions.

Yours

Dr Jules Blackham - Chair, Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care South West.
