ARCP
Each trainee will have an end of year ARCP assessment which will take place in June or July. The assessment will involve going through the paperwork and ensuring that the trainee is of a satisfactory standard to progress to the next year. The paperwork will be assessed without the trainee being present. ACCS is the Core training programme leading to Higher Specialist training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Acute Medicine and Emergency Medicine. The first 2 years, organised by the School of ACCS, has training posts in acute care specialties of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine and Acute Medicine.
