Sedation Day
Severn Anaesthetic Sedation Day
We are delighted to announce that the first of our two Sedation Training Days for 2025 will take place on Wednesday, 26th March in the Anaesthetic Department at Cheltenham General Hospital.
This session is open to those who have already completed their Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) in Anaesthetics but have not yet attended a sedation training day. If you are still working towards your IAC, don’t worry—there will be a second session later in the year, likely on 11th June (date to be confirmed).
In previous years, this training has been exclusively for ACCS trainees across all specialties, but this year we are pleased to extend the invitation to Core Anaesthetic Trainees as well.
The Sedation Training Day has been running for several years and consistently receives excellent feedback, so we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. While it is not a substitute for your sedation HALO, it provides valuable experience and evidence for your ARCP. Best of all—it’s completely free!
This will be an interactive, in-person event, so please sign up via the google form below if you’d like to attend. We have a maximum capacity when it comes to the room size, so please sign up early! If you have any other questions, also feel free to get in touch.
